A Deep Dive into Hawaiian Culture and Cuisine: The Island of Hawai’i is gearing up for its second year hosting what is sure to be one of the biggest gatherings of culinary talent in North America. While new to the festival scene, Mauna Lani’s Culinary Classic draws the likes of Andrew Zimmern and Jonathan Waxman, even bringing out of retirement Portland’s own Vitaly Paley - all in the name of culinary creativity. Joining this year’s line up are Michelin-starred Nancy Silverton and Margarita Manzke of LA’s République, making Mauna Lani the only place you’ll want to spend your last weekend of summer.

From August 29th through September 1st, this four-day festival pairs Hawaii’s homegrown culinary talent with James Beard Award-winning chefs including new-to the-lineup celebrity Chef and Michelin-starred Nancy Silverton. Join world-renowned masters in their craft for a series of intimate events that celebrate Hawaii’s fascinating flavors and agricultural heritage.
Eat, Drink and Ideate: From traditional Omakase experiences with Blue Ribbon Sushi to chef-led masterclasses along our oceanfront, the Culinary Classic unveils 11 one-of-a-kind events hosted across Mauna Lani’s storied grounds. Eat, drink and ideate with culinary trailblazers like the returning Andrew Zimmern and Stephanie Izard, famed Hawai’i Chefs Lee Anne Wong and Allen Hess, and Blue Ribbon Restaruant’s Bromberg brothers Bruce and Eric, who bring in tow their master sushi Chefs from across Blue Ribbon Sushi for an extraordinary 17-course journey.
