Our Rituals Issue Is Here
What's inside our summer issue, and what we're excited about
Summer rituals are no new thing, and our 75th issue (!) asks the question: where do rituals begin, and what makes them last? In celebration of our 1-year anniversary under new ownership, we brought in creative collaborators Sonya Yu and designer Tyson Lee to help us find out.

We uncover rituals in both literal and abstract forms: a round-up of the best weekly ritual meals in SF, an intimate death cafe experience, and chefs styled in unexpected portraits of their daily practice.
SUMMER 2026
We’re one of the official partners of ScentFest SF, an international luxury fragrance exhibition at Fort Mason (June 26-28). Connect with leading and rare fragrance houses, scent connoisseurs, and cultured collectors from around the world.
Our summer issue is in every giftbag.

FEATURED RECIPES
Nelson German’s new cocktail book ‘Caribbean Cocktails’ dropped five days ago, and if you’re a fan of MESKI, these Dominican/Ethiopian inspired recipes will have you mixing at your bar cart all summer long. Two recipes from his new book below:
Church-going memories in a coupe: spiced rum, guava, dark chocolate, and a marshmallow finish. Mocktail version included.
The Caribbean expression for being overwhelmed with flavor. Lives up to its name: soursop and coconut up front, guajillo chile works its way through. Mocktail version included.
